On Friday 30th August, a group of 44 members attended the Captain & President's Away Day at Antrobus GC near Northwich. Capt Don & President Jim worked hard on getting the day and venue together. On behalf of everyone who attended, a big thank you for what was a great day, with some great golf, some bad golf, fine weather and good company.
Gary Denman finally stepped out of the shadow of Linda and his son Joe, to claim a prize of his own as he won the singles competition with 39 points. A great score on a good track. The pairs prize went to Billy Snape & President Jim with a combined score of 71.
The on course 3 x nearest the pin prizes and longest drive prizes were won by Tim Hanford, Gordon Hamlet, Alan Booth and Steve Conway. Pete Hamlett picked up the raffle prize of a 4 ball at Macclesfield GC.
